GeekAid Music and Arts Festival Brings Top Talent to Riverside Park

The official musical lineup for the 2008 GeekAid music and arts festival is official, once again highlighting an eclectic mix of musical styles.  This year's artists include Ralston Bowles, a soulful singer-songwriter, Four Lincolns, a Jammie-award nominated rock outfit, Griff and John's Afterhours Experience, a two-piece acoustic featuring Craig 'Griff' Griffith, of The Verve Pipe, Karisa Wilson, a jazz-tinged blues artist and WYCE 2008 "Best New Artist", and more. "We're really excited about the musical lineup at this year's GeekAid event" states Eric DeHaan, an event organizer. GeekAid is a Non-Profit Organization 5013c charity established in 2006.  A 100% volunteer organization with local business sponsors encouraging and fostering a passion for technology in local students.  GeekAid provides an annual eclectic music and arts celebration that provides a fun, family-oriented activity that embraces the West Michigan community.  Proceeds from the festival award area students with scholarship opportunities for continued education in a technology related field.    Visit www.GeekAid.org for more information.
